Reseller panel
TREX OTT Reseller Panel
What is actually in the panel: M3U lines, MAG and Enigma2 devices, sub-resellers, credits, statistics and the API. Drive it yourself in the simulator first.
The reseller panel is where you spend your working time: creating customer lines, renewing them, suspending the ones that have not paid, and keeping an eye on what is expiring. This page describes what is actually in it. The simulator lets you drive the same interface without an account.
What the panel does
M3U lines
Create, edit, renew and expire M3U subscription lines, with quick-add for repeat work.
MAG devices
Register MAG boxes by MAC address and manage their portal assignment.
Enigma2 devices
Register and manage Enigma2 receivers alongside M3U and MAG lines.
Sub-resellers
Create resellers beneath your account and allocate credits to them.
Credit requests
Request more credits from inside the panel rather than by message.
Statistics
Subscription totals, online counts, reseller counts and upcoming expiries.
Transactions
A record of credit movements on your account.
Support chat
Raise an issue from inside the panel and track the reply.
API access
Programmatic account management for integrations such as WHMCS.
Custom DNS
Serve your customers a hostname on your own domain instead of ours.
The day-to-day workflows
- Create a customer line
M3U Lines → Add Line, or Quick Add for repeat work. You choose the package and the duration; the panel deducts the credits and returns the connection details to hand to your customer.
- Register a set-top box
MAG boxes authenticate by MAC address rather than username and password, so they are registered under MAG Devices → Add Device. Enigma2 receivers have their own section. See the account lifecycle.
- Renew
Extend an existing line rather than creating a new one — the customer keeps their credentials and nothing on their devices needs changing.
- Suspend and restore
Suspending stops playback without destroying the line, so a customer who pays late can be restored rather than rebuilt.
- Add connections
Change the connection count on a line so a household can stream on more devices at once.
- Watch what is expiring
The dashboard shows expiries due tomorrow. That list is your renewal work queue, and working it is the difference between a churn problem and a renewal business.
- Issue a trial
Trials run for 24 hours and cost nothing — no credit is deducted. Use them to close a sale, not as a free tier.
Credits
One credit activates one subscription month. A six-month line costs six credits at the moment you create it. Buying more credits at once lowers the price of each one.
| Pack | Credits | Price | Per credit | How to buy |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | 60 | $100 | $1.67 | Contact sales |
| Starter | 120 | $190 | $1.58 | Buy online |
| Standard | 240 | $370 | $1.54 | Contact sales |
| Pro | 480 | $730 | $1.52 | Contact sales |
| Business | 960 | $1,450 | $1.51 | Contact sales |
Prices in USD. One credit activates one subscription month. Only the Starter pack has an online checkout today; the others are invoiced by sales, so the figure above is the quoted price, not a live cart price.
| Credits | What it activates |
|---|---|
| 12 | 1 year on 1 device |
| 6 | 6 months on 1 device |
| 3 | 3 months on 1 device |
| 1 | 1 month on 1 device |
| 0 | 24-hour trial on 1 device (free) |
The rate card as published with the reseller product. “1 device” means one subscription line; a line’s connection count is a property of the line, not a credit multiplier.
Full detail on allocation, sub-reseller balances and what happens when you run out is in how reseller credits work.
No earnings claims on this page. We publish what a credit costs. What you sell a subscription for, and therefore what you make, is your business decision in your market — we are not going to invent a multiple for it.
Sub-resellers
You can create reseller accounts beneath your own and move credits into them. They get the same panel against their own customer list, and they cannot see yours. This is how you build a distribution layer instead of personally serving every customer. Set-up is covered in reseller onboarding.
Custom DNS
You can point a hostname on your own domain at the service, so the URL your customers put into their player carries your brand rather than ours. Combined with a branded application it removes our name from the customer experience entirely.
API and automation
The panel exposes an API for account management, which is what the WHMCS module uses. If you bill through something else, the same API is available to you — ask sales for the current specification rather than working from an old copy.
API credentials are account secrets. They are issued to you directly and are never published on this site. Anyone who quotes you a key from a public page is not us — see panel security.
Questions
Can I see the panel before buying?
Yes — the simulator runs the real interface with no login. Account-sensitive functions are disabled in it; everything else behaves as it does in production.
Do credits expire?
Ask sales for the current position before you buy a large pack, and get the answer in writing. We are not going to state a term here that might not match your agreement.
What happens if I run out of credits mid-month?
Existing lines keep running to their expiry date. You cannot create or renew until you top up. You can request credits from inside the panel.
Can my customers contact you directly?
They should not. You are the supplier of record to your customers, and their support runs through you — see support escalation.
Is there a contract or a minimum term?
You buy credits; there is no subscription to the panel itself. Anything beyond that is whatever you agree with sales.
